Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 1,458 vehicles.
The traffic police carried out checks in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Thursday morning took action against 52 drivers for drunk driving, 35 for driving under the influence of alcohol and 56 for driving under the red light.
Similarly, 148 drivers were penalized for speeding, 44 for not wearing horns, 91 for lane crossing, 50 for improper condition and 40 for one-way traffic and 942 for others.
