6 UML ministers resign from Bagmati government

Kathmandu. 6 ministers of the CPN-UML have resigned en masse from the Bagmati Province government. The ministers submitted their resignations en masse to Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya today.

In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Baniya, CPN-UML Bagmati Province parliamentary party leader Jagannath Thapaliya states that all the ministers from the party have resigned from the government with effect from today.

Madhusudan Poudel and Dr. Madhusudan Poudel of UML are in the Bagmati government. Dinesh Chandra Devkota, Jayaram Thapa, Bharat Bahadur KC, Kiran Thapa and Bindu Shrestha were ministers.

Chief Minister Baniya has been reduced to a minority after the UML withdrew its support to the coalition government in Bagmati Province.
