KATHMANDU: Yeti International College, Kathmandu has successfully conducted the first convocation of the Bachelor of Arts in Hotel & Mess Management (BA-HMM) programme conducted in collaboration with Sripatum University (SPU), Thailand. A total of 45 students have been awarded in a ceremony organized under the international degree programme recognized by the Government of Nepal.
The convocation ceremony was attended by graduating students, parents, professors and distinguished guests from various walks of life.TAG_OPEN_p_7 On the occasion, college executive chairman Sanjaya Kumar Jha congratulated the graduating students and urged them to imbibe professionalism, honesty and continuous learning in the global hospitality and mice industry.
Director of the college, Anaraj Silwal, expressed gratitude to the parents and reiterated the college’s commitment to provide internationally accredited quality education.TAG_OPEN_p_6 Principal Ram Dinesh Mishra said that the convocation is not the end of the educational journey, but the beginning of new responsibilities and opportunities.
On the occasion, student Sargam Pariyar shared his experience of four years of academic journey while Prof Padam Prasad Ghimire highlighted the importance of a degree in humanities in a specialized field like hotel and mist management.TAG_OPEN_p_5
In the program that included cultural presentations, experience sharing of students and certificate distribution, Yeti International College reiterated its commitment to provide industry-friendly education of international standard.TAG_OPEN_p_4 Currently, the college is running BA-HMM, BA-ABM, BSc-IT and MBA programs in collaboration with SPU.
