Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division has said although the influence of monsoon wind is prevailing throughout the country at present, there is no possibility of heavy rain in the next two days.
Meteorologist at the Department, Hari Prasad Dahal, said the chances of occurrence of flood and landslide are not less as most places receive moderate rainfall.
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and at a few places of Madhesh provinces. He said that the amount of rain seems to be a little less tomorrow and the day after than yesterday.
Stating that weather forecasting has been done on the basis of impact, he said the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has been regularly informing about it.
