Kathmandu. Members of Hindu organizations have staged a protest against the visit of Labor Culture Party Chairman Harka Sampang to the Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham.
They have been protesting in front of Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham chanting slogans against Harka Sampang.
Hindutva organisations have been protesting against the ban on the entry of the Sampang, a Christian, into the Janaki Temple, the centre of Hindu faith. A large number of police personnel have been deployed outside and inside the Janaki temple.
Cadres of the Labour and Culture Party were chased away while trying to enter the premises of the Janaki Temple.
Sampang is scheduled to arrive in Janakpurdham today to participate in various programs.
