Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has pledged to address the problems related to capital market. Holding discussion with stakeholders and stakeholders of the capital market and securities business sector in Singha Durbar today, he expressed his commitment to resolve the problems seen in this sector.
Stating that the government was ready to address the problems in the market along with formulating necessary policies, he said that this market should increase investment, create employment and contribute to revenue.
In the meeting that lasted for about 1 hour, Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal Gopal Bhatta apprised the Prime Minister about the improvement in the IPO issuance process and effective regulation.
After listening to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) chairman Amrit Lamsal and former president of the Stock Brokers Association Priya Raj Regmi, PM Shah urged the investors to give suggestions as the government was working for the development of capital market.
