Kathmandu. Argentina has reached the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Argentina defeated Switzerland 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the United States to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup for the seventh time on Sunday.
Argentina took the lead in the first half. Maintaining the pressure in the second half, they scored two more goals to give Switzerland an easy victory. Switzerland could not make a comeback in the match despite a goal.
With this victory, Argentina is one step closer to defending the title. Argentina will now face England in the semi-finals for a place in the final.
