Rs 18.60 lakh collected in traffic action

Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 2,066 drivers have been taken action for violating traffic rules. Through this, Rs 18,60,030 revenue has been deposited in the state exchequer.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, action was taken against 65 people for drunken driving, 122 for ride-sharing law, 120 for breaching lights and 114 for speeding.

Similarly, action taken for flouting lane discipline, 74 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 103 for parking on the pavement, 89 for one-way driving and 1,237 for violating other traffic rules.
