Kathmandu. At present, there is the influence of monsoon wind across the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the monsoon low pressure trough is located south of the eastern region and around the average place in the western part of the country.
According to the Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country today. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places of the hilly region of Madhes and Karnali provinces.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is the possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of the hilly region. Thunderstorm is likely to occur at some places of Madhes and Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of hilly and terai region of Koshi Province, and at a few places of Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki, Lumbini Province and Sudurpaschim Province.
