Kathmandu. The third edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL) is taking place today.
According to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), each franchise will be able to pick up two more Nepali players through auction. Out of the 155 players finalized for the auction, 52 will be associated with various franchise teams.
A total of 347 players had registered their names for the auction. Of them, 155 were included in the final list after the selection process.
The players in the final list are divided into three categories. A total of 123 players are in Grade ‘B’ and five are in Grade ‘A’.
Janakpur Bolts was crowned the champion in the first edition of the NPL while Lumbini Lions was crowned the champion in the second edition.
