Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has concluded that the party failed to implement the 100-point agenda of governance reforms led by senior leader Balen Shah.
A meeting of coordinators presided over by parliamentary party leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe at Singha Durbar concluded that the government’s performance was not satisfactory.
The NC’s decision reads, “To strongly raise the issues of the 100 agendas related to governance reforms that have not been effectively implemented in the parliament, to regularly monitor the government’s progress and to play a more active role as the main opposition party in the parliament to make the government accountable.” ’
The meeting also decided to draw the attention of the government to forward necessary corrective works as per the suggestions and conclusions received after reviewing the report presented by the Ministry-level coordinators and making the work execution more effective.
