Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, 1,813 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. A total of Rs 528,501 revenue has been deposited in the state treasury through this.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, action was taken against nine persons for consuming alcohol, 105 for ride-sharing against the traffic rules, 119 for breaching signal lights and 115 for speeding.
Similarly, action taken for flouting lane discipline is 102, for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 117 for parking on the pavement, 65 for one-way driving and 1,110 for not following other traffic rules.
