Kathmandu. The stock market, which had fallen for 7 consecutive trading days, has increased today. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 44.59 points to close at 2,652.93 points today.
The indices of hydropower, production and processing, non-life insurance and business group increased by more than 2 percent today.
Shares of 252 companies rose today and 17 declined. Similarly, shares of 6 companies have remained unchanged.
Shares of Snow Rivers are up 15% today. Overall, shares of Corporate Development Bank fell 5.21 percent on the day.
Today, the transaction amount has also increased along with NEPSE. A total of 9,547,000 units of shares of 362 companies were traded for Rs 3.86 billion today compared to Rs 3.25 billion yesterday.
