Kathmandu. Rabi Lamichhane has been elected the president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
According to Deputy Chief of the Election Commission Ram Gurung, Lamichhane was elected unopposed by the Election Commission after the closed session. According to Gurung, Lamichhane was elected unopposed with the proposal of senior leader Balen Shah and support of 51 members.
Lamichhane was elected unopposed as no other candidate could file candidacy for the post of president.
Deputy Mayor Ram Gurung said that the voting process for the central committee members will go ahead with the process.
