RSP General Convention: Details of candidacy registration fee and required documents made public

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party) has made public the candidacy registration fee and necessary organizational process for the first National General Convention.

Issuing a notice on Saturday, the Central Election Commission (CEC) informed about the fees charged by the aspirants for various posts in the general convention, necessary proposers, seconders and other legal documents.

As per the details made public by the EC, the fee for candidacy for the post of party central president has been fixed at Rs 51,000. The general convention delegates must have one proposer and 51 seconders for the candidacy for the post of president.

The Election Commission has fixed Rs 41,000 as candidacy fee for the post of central office-bearer of the party. One proposer and 21 seconders are required to file candidacies for both office-bearers and central members.

Similarly, Rs 21,000 has been fixed for the post of central member. A candidate from 21 seconders is required to file candidacy for both office-bearers and central members.
