64.31 per cent pass in class 12, more than 100,000 students get NG

Kathmandu. National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of Grade 12 examinations conducted this year. The results of the examination held from April 28 to 27 have been made public this morning.

According to the results, 69.75 per cent of the students have passed the exam this year. Out of a total of 332,241 students who appeared for the examinations, 231,770 got grades in all subjects.

Similarly, 1,471 NG were encountered in the regular category. This is about 30.25 percent of the total number of regular students.

A total of 4,95,170 candidates had appeared for the examination this year. A total of 268,190 including 36,420 from the partial category have been successful in the results. A total of 64.31 per cent of the candidates have passed the exam in both the parties. According to the board, 40 students have been canceled for indecent activities in the examination.

According to the results provided by the board, there are many students on the list with a 2.81 to 3.20 GPA this year. There are 94,249 people in this group.

3.61 to 4.0 GPA: 17,786 people

3.21 to 3.60 GPA: 64,821 people

2.81 to 3.20 GPA: 94,249 people

2.41 to 2.80 GPA: 50,597 people

2.01 to 2.40 GPA: 4,308 people

1.61 to 2.00 GPA: 9

According to the board, one should get at least ‘D’ grade in the theoretical examination. Students who have scored less than this number of marks and have obtained ‘NG’ in a maximum of two subjects or are absent in a maximum of two subjects will be able to take the supplementary examination. The board has said that it will publish the schedule soon.
