Kathmandu. CPN-UML lawmaker Yashoda Kumari Yadav has drawn the attention of the House of Representatives over the cyberbullying of 90 per cent women lawmakers.
Speaking at the House of Representatives on Wednesday, President Bhandari objected to the growing trend of uploading videos and photos on social media linking women lawmakers with the Speaker for a simple joke.
“At present, 90 per cent of women MPs are being linked to the Speaker and cyberbullying. It is a shame to do this with a simple laugh. Where is society going? I would like to draw the attention of the House to such cyber bullying. ’
