Kathmandu. A woman has been arrested for cheating her on the pretext of sending her to the United States.

Police on Wednesday arrested Nirmala Kumari Shrestha, 54, of Chandragiri municipality-4, Rolpa on charge of cheating money on the pretext of sending her to the United States of America on the pretext of lucrative salary.

A police team deputed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested Nirmala from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12, Teku on the complaint of a victim that she had gone missing after taking Rs 38.5 million from a victim on the pretext of sending her to the United States.
