Kathmandu. Sudan Gurung has been appointed as the Home Minister for the second time in the Balendra Shah-led government. He will be sworn in today.
Earlier, Gurung had resigned from the post of Home Minister following various disputes including property. The government had formed a committee to investigate him. Gurung is being sent back to the home after the probe committee gave him a clean chit.
According to a source at the Prime Minister’s Office, a letter was sent to the Office of the President for the swearing-in ceremony at 3:00 pm today.
