Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place today. The meeting will be held at 1:00 pm at Singha Durbar today.
The Speaker is scheduled to read out a letter from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the increase in workload. The Speaker is scheduled to inform about the nomination of honorable members to the Business Advisory Committee.
Similarly, the Speaker will inform the meeting that the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill-2082 has not been withdrawn from the National Assembly within the stipulated period.
The meeting is scheduled to start discussing the budget for the coming fiscal year. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to answer questions raised during the discussion on the budget.
Along with the statement, Finance Minister Wagle is scheduled to present a proposal seeking the initiation of general discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2083/084 BS.
