Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Gyanendra Shahi They have demanded a parliamentary inquiry into Swarnim Wagle. Shahi made the demand while speaking in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday.
“Who knows about the change in tax rates? Even the secretary doesn’t know. Only the people appointed by the Finance Minister and the Finance Minister know. Due to the leak of information, 753 BYD vehicles pass the customs from Kerala on the 14th and the vehicles arrive on the 20th. And the government forms an inquiry committee. Will you form your own investigation committee and try to intimidate the employees?”
Shahi said that the Finance Minister should be investigated for tampering with the budget presented in the parliament and leaking tax rates.
Shahi said that those involved in tax evasion should be prosecuted for sedition. He said that the parliament, not the government, should form a committee to investigate the matter. He warned that the government which has been demanding good governance should not take the path of bad governance.
He said, “No one except the Finance Minister knows how much tax is changed in the budget and how much tax is made.” If found guilty of such a crime, then there is a legal provision in Nepal to prosecute him for sedition. ’
