KATHMANDU: The domestic share market posted a double-digit fall today. The NEPSE index decreased by 13.46 points to close at 2,766.78 points today.
Today, the indices of all groups except mutual funds declined, while the trade group index fell by 1.71 percent. Shares of 198 companies decreased today and 63 others increased. Similarly, the shares of 8 companies have remained unchanged.
Today, the debentures of Siddhartha Bank have decreased by 10.5 percent. Overall, the shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower Ltd rose by 15 percent on the day.
Today, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 10.6 million units of shares of 353 companies were traded for Rs 4.70 billion compared to Rs 5.73 billion yesterday.
