Kathmandu. The government has honoured 14 outstanding farmers from across the country with national award. President Ram Chandra Poudel honoured 14 outstanding farmers with a cash prize of Rs 200,000 each amidst a function at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, the farmers were selected from all over the country. On the occasion, the farmers said that the honour received from the state has boosted energy, enthusiasm and morale in the agriculture sector.
On the occasion, President Poudel stressed the need for the state to bring policies and programmes in a planned manner for the development of agriculture sector.
