Bright Nepal Party and our Nepal Party unify: Chair Ghising

Kathmandu. Ujjyalo Nepal Party and Our Party Nepal have merged. The agreement was signed amidst a programme organized at the party’s central office ‘Ujjyalo Ghar’ in Tripureshwor on Thursday.

General Secretary of Ujyalo Nepal Dharma Chaudhary and General Secretary of Our Party Nepal, Dadhiram Pariyar, signed the MoU. With the merger, our party Nepal has officially merged with the Ujyalo Nepal Party.

The agreement has expressed common commitment to pursue good governance, prosperity, social justice, equality, inclusion and citizen-centric politics.

Priority has been given to the rights of Dalits, representation of backward classes and establishing the voice of weaker communities in the political mainstream.

The agreement also pledged to continue the campaign against corruption and misgovernance by embracing the spirit of the Genji movement, to address the demands of the families of the injured and martyrs and to ensure proportional representation of the discriminated castes, regions, genders and classes.

Similarly, policy and practical initiatives would be taken to end caste-based discrimination, discrimination and marginalization against the Dalit community.

An agreement has also been reached to ensure the representation of the Dalit community in proportion to the population in the state government and party organization and to give proper responsibility and respectable status to the leaders and cadres of our party Nepal.

The Ujyalo Nepal Party has described the integration as an important step towards a new political culture, common objectives and responsible political practice. The party has pledged to further intensify the campaign of building ‘Bright Nepal’ along with good governance, prosperity and social justice through the cooperation and active participation of all sides in the days ahead.
