Kathmandu. The stock market fell on the second trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 9.24 points to close at 2,777.10 points on Tuesday.
Along with the market, the amount of transactions in the market has also decreased. Shares worth Rs 5.98 billion were traded on Monday and the turnover volume fell to Rs 4.85 billion on Tuesday.
Today, the price of shares of 69 companies has increased while the price of 190 companies has fallen. Shares of 11 companies remained unchanged.
The share price of Kalinchowk Hydropower Company has increased by 9.23 percent in the market. The share price of Super Khudi Hydropower Company fell the most by 3.60 percent.
Shares of Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Ltd were traded at Rs 46.72 crore today. Similarly, shares of Reedy Power and Sahas Energy were traded at Rs 16.59 crore and Rs 14.16 crore.
