Kathmandu. The stock market, which fell yesterday, rose today. On the last trading day of the week, the NEPSE index increased by 16.38 points to close at 2,758.49 points.
The index of hydropower group increased by 1.29 percent except trade. Shares of 203 companies rose today and 57 declined. Similarly, the shares of 8 companies have not changed.
Shares of Crest Micro Life Insurance Ltd. rose by 14.81 percent today. Overall, shares of NIC Asia Balance Fund fell by 2.59 percent on the day.
Today, the transaction amount has also increased along with NEPSE. A total of 10.8 million units of shares of 336 companies were traded for Rs 4.49 billion compared to Rs 3.89 billion yesterday.
