Kathmandu. The Kaski District Court has dismissed the cases filed against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSS) President Rabi Lamichhane on the charge of organized crime and money laundering.
A single bench of Justice Himlal Belbase issued the order so that the charge of cooperative fraud would remain intact while other cases would not remain intact.
According to the order, the case has been amended as the claim of the complainant who has lost the savings of the cooperatives is not the claim of money laundering and organized crime against them.
The court has stated that the process of settlement and easy recovery of the amount will become more complicated as the case of money laundering and organized crime against the defendant is still pending in the case of money laundering and organized crime.
