Two bills tabled in House of Representatives, next meeting to be held on Thursday

Kathmandu. The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Thursday. Speaker DP Aryal informed that the next meeting will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday.

Two amendment bills have been tabled in the eighth session of the House of Representatives on Wednesday. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on the behalf of the Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, presented the management bills in the meeting.

Minister Gautam presented the bill seeking permission to present the Bill relating to the election to the members of the House of Representatives (first amendment), 2083. Likewise, Minister Gautam presented the Voters’ List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS in the meeting.

In Wednesday’s meeting of the second session of the House of Representatives, which was elected in 2082, there were four agendas to present the two bills and seek their permission. The meeting has been adjourned till Thursday after all the agendas were completed.
