Kathmandu. In the last few days, the heat has increased in the Tarai. The heat is increasing in the western Tarai. Today will be a hot day in the Tarai region of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini region. The scorching heat has affected normal life in these areas.
Experts have urged people not to go out unnecessarily, drink plenty of water, wear light clothes and take special care of children, elderly and sick people during the day to avoid extreme heat. At present, there is the influence of westerly and local winds in Nepal.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region while the weather is mainly clear in the rest of the region.
