Kathmandu. More than 10 million gifts have been collected at the famous pilgrimage site Pathivara Temple in the month of Baisakh in 2083 BS alone. According to the details made public by the Pathivara Area Development Committee, a total of Rs 10.6 million has been collected in the month of Baisakh.

According to the committee, the number of devotees visiting Pathibhara in the month of Baisakh has reached 52,228. Executive Director of the Board Prajin Hambang said that the amount was deposited through Nepal Bank on different dates from April 19 to April 14.

The highest amount of Rs 4.2 million was collected on April 30, according to Hambang.

The number of domestic and foreign tourists and devotees for the worship of Pathivara Mata has increased significantly in recent times. A large number of devotees visit Pathibhara, one of the major destinations of religious tourism, especially in the month of Baisakh.

The committee has said that the details have been made public as part of its commitment to maintain transparency by making public the amount and number of visitors on a monthly basis.
