Recommendation to summon federal parliament session on May 28

The government has recommended to summon a session of the federal parliament on May 10.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to recommend to President Ram Chandra Poudel to summon the session of the House of Representatives on May 11, according to Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel, who is also the government spokesperson.

President Ram Chandra Poudel had summoned the session of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament on April 23 at 2:00 pm on Thursday after the meeting of the Council of Ministers decided to summon the session of the Federal Parliament.

However, the session called as per Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal was postponed after the government sent a letter to postpone it.
