Kathmandu. Police have arrested five drivers for driving the microbus in a reckless manner when the police teams deputed from Nepal Police and Traffic Police stopped them at a safe place.
SP Komal Shah said that 5 drivers arrested on the charge of driving endangering the life and property of passengers have been taken into custody at the District Police Office, Karyapalchowk.
A team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army rescued 89 passengers trapped in the middle of the river at 1:00 am after the water level in the river rose due to incessant rainfall since Monday evening.
The District Police Office, Kavrepalanchowk has requested the people to travel through the BP Highway by taking information and taking the advice of the police at all times.
