Kathmandu. The stock market fell 5.73 points on Thursday for the third consecutive trading day.
After this, the NEPSE index decreased to 2738 points. It had lost 25 points the previous day and 26 points on Tuesday. In the first 22 minutes of trading, the NEPSE index fell by 2708 points.
The transaction amount has also decreased slightly. The turnover was Rs 4.98 billion in the previous day, which was Rs 4.91 billion today. The price of 98 companies declined, while 161 declined, while 10 remained unchanged.
Only the indicators of two groups have increased. Banking increased 0.02 percent and production and processing increased 0.84 percent. All the indices fell by less than 1 percent.
Shares of development bank 0.48, finance 0.20, hotel and tourism 0.04, hydropower 0.40, investment 0.42, life insurance 0.26, microfinance 0.34, non-life insurance 0.02, others 0.97 and trading 0.63 percent.
Srinagar Agritech was the top gainer, rising 12.57 per cent. Shikhar Power Ltd (7.91 per cent), Asian Hydropower Ltd (7.88 per cent), River Falls Power Ltd (4.95 per cent) and SY Panel (3.81 per cent) were among the other companies in the review period.
Reliance Spinning Mills, Ankhukhola Hydropower Company, National Hydropower, Shivam Cement and NRN Infrastructure are among the companies with the highest turnover today.
