Kathmandu. A police team on regular patrolling has arrested 18 people in possession of drugs from different parts of the country.
According to the Central Police News Room, five persons were arrested with brown heroin from tea garden in Arjundhar municipality-11 of Jhapa, two from Shanibare of Phidim municipality-1, three from Laukahi of Koshi rural municipality-1 of Sunsari, one from Dharan sub-metropolis-11 and two from Madhyapur Thimi municipality-1, Manohara.
Police also confiscated medicines, cash and digital scales used to weigh narcotic drugs from some of them.
Likewise, police arrested one person from Chadindatole of Kohalpur municipality-10, one from Yamdi of Pokhara metropolis-25, two from Bhattibairiya of Simraungadh municipality-3 and one from Lalapur of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis-13. They were arrested on Wednesday.
