Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 4 persons on the charge of cheating money on the pretext of sending them to different countries with the promise of lucrative salary.
The arrestees have been identified as Mithilesh Kushwaha (25) of Baudhimai Municipality-7 in Rautahat, Kedar Bahadur Bhandari (44) of Bhojpur Municipality-7 and Bhojpur Metropolitan City-32.
Likewise, Ram Tula Miya, 53, of Surunga Municipality-5, Saptari and Sunita Khatri, 55, of Suryubinayak Municipality-7, Bhaktapur are also staying in Mahalaxmi Municipality-3, Lalitpur.
A police team from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested Kedar Bahadur from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13 on Monday after receiving Rs 350,000 from one victim on the pretext of sending him to Kuwait, Rs 125,000 from one victim in the name of sending Kedar Bahadur to Portugal and Rs 350,000 from one victim on the pretext of sending him to Albania ।
Likewise, Mithilesh was arrested from Kathmandu metropolis-12 on Sunday while Ram Tula and Sunita were arrested from Madhyapur Thimi municipality-1 in Bhaktapur on Saturday.
They have been sent to the Foreign Employment Department, Tahachal, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
