Kathmandu. All the stock market indices fell on Thursday. On this day, the NEPSE index decreased by 33.83 points compared to the previous day. With this, the NEPSE index has reached 2833 points. In the previous day, the NEPSE index had increased by 33.27 points.
The transaction amount has also decreased. The transaction was Rs 10.53 billion in the previous day and today it was Rs 9.31 billion. The price of 31 companies increased, 236 declined, while 3 remained unchanged. The indices of all the groups have decreased. Finance was the biggest loser, falling 1.98 percent.
Banking 0.80, Development Bank 1. Shares of hotel and tourism sector saw a decline of 0.50 per cent, hydropower 1.51 per cent, investment 1.27 per cent, life insurance 0.90 per cent, production and processing 1.54 per cent, microfinance 0.71 per cent, non-life insurance 128 per cent and others 1.90 per cent.
The value of five companies has increased by 10 percent. Among the companies that have increased by 10 percent are Palpa Cement, Hotel Forest Inn, Ridgeline Energy, Suryakund Hydro Electric and Shikhar Power.
Sindhu Bikas Bank was the biggest loser by 9.47 per cent. Bhugol Hydropower Ltd and Bhujung Hydropower Ltd fell 7.39 per cent and Crest Microlife Insurance Ltd fell 4.65 per cent. Reliance Spinning Mills, National Hydropower, SY Panels, Solu Hydropower and Reedy Power are among the most traded companies today.
