Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has expressed his support to the struggle launched by the student unions against the government’s policy of dissolving student unions.
He urged the student unions to strengthen the movement.
“This mindset of the government is an expression of autocratic tendencies. Student organizations are the vehicles of awareness, vigilance, justice, rebellion and progress. The role of students has been at the forefront of all the autocratic rulers of Nepal. ’
He said that the contribution of these institutions and forces has brought about the current change. They have threatened to uproot the government if they try to strangle the student unions.
