Suhana and Jharna to be seen together for the first time in ‘Baa Ek Yoddha’

Kathmandu. Jharana Thapa and her daughter Suhana Thapa are coming together in a movie for the first time. Hari Lamsal, who is established as a music composer, is all set to play the lead role in the movie ‘Ba Ek Yoddha’.

The film, which has been shot for the past two weeks, has kept the names of the actors confidential. The film is currently being shot in various places of Kathmandu and Jharana and Suhana are giving a take together on the set.

The shooting of the movie started on the premises of Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu on Chaitra 9 with the script and camera worship. Produced under the banner of ‘Artistic Entertainment’, this movie has tried to encompass a very poignant and realistic story of Nepali society.

Famous music composer Hari Lamsal, who has given dozens of songs in music and playback singing, is debuting as a director with this movie. Lamsal has not only directed the film but has also written the story and screenplay of the movie himself. Lamsal, who has already made his own identity in the music industry, is waiting to see what his directorial ability and approach will be.

The film depicts the tireless sacrifices made for the sake of the boat, the challenges and struggles faced throughout life. The film aims to bring to the screen the story of the responsibility and emotional relationship that a father carries on his shoulders from a rural setting to an urban society.

According to the production team, it will be a pure social and emotional entertainer. The producer of the film is Basanta Lamsal. Singer and composer Lamsal had earlier produced the movie ‘Karma’ with actor Bipin Karki.

Shivaram Shrestha is the cinematographer of the movie and Tara Nath Neupane is the main assistant director of the movie. According to the producers, the release date will be announced only after the completion of all the shooting of the film.
