Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation has issued a directive to prohibit the entry of unauthorized persons (middlemen) in all land-related offices.

Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal on Wednesday directed the concerned department to enter the survey offices and land revenue offices across the country only after examining the identity documents.

In the letter, there have been complaints that middlemen have entered the offices under various pretexts and have access to important documents and records of the office, so now only the people with identity documents will be allowed to enter the office.

The ministry has said that the move has increased due to the increase in the uncontrolled access of middlemen and unauthorized people to the confidential and sensitive documents of the office.

Raising serious questions about the crowd in different areas of the office and the security of documents, the office chief will be responsible if the entry of unauthorized persons is not stopped.

After prohibiting intermediaries, the service recipients will be able to get the service easily by showing applications and documents.
