Kathmandu. Newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dol Prasad Aryal, has taken oath of office and secrecy.
President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Poudel amid a special function at Sheetal Niwas on Sunday.
Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, ministers, lawmakers, among others were present on the occasion.
Vice-President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party Aryal was elected unopposed to the post in the previous meeting of the House of Representatives.
