Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and coordinator of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will not address the first meeting of the House of Representatives today.
Party central office secretary Govinda Acharya said that party leader Barshaman Pun will address the meeting. Acharya said that Pun will address the meeting on behalf of the party as he will only give good wishes on the first day.
“As a former prime minister, there is a past parliamentary practice that allows him to speak at any time. Barshaman Pun will address the meeting on behalf of the party as he is only scheduled to give best wishes,” he said.
