Kathmandu. Lawmakers from various political parties of Madhes Province called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and discussed the contemporary political and development issues. During the discussion, attention was drawn towards the problems of the province, development projects, budget allocation and people’s expectations.
Likewise, the lawmakers stressed the need for the central government’s effective role especially in infrastructure development, employment generation, strengthening agriculture sector and improving health and education services.
Taking the suggestions of the lawmakers positively, the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to give priority to the development of Madhes Province through necessary coordination and collaboration. It was also agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the Centre and the provinces in the coming days.
