Kathmandu. Karnali Province has made significant achievements in the development of sports infrastructure. The land required for the establishment of Karnali High Altitude Training Centre in Jumla has been formally confirmed.
The process has been initiated at the initiative of Prakash Khadka{{TAG_CLOSE_span_7}}{. Khadka, the coordinator of The Council of Gen Z, handed over the ownership certificate to the National Sports Council member-secretary Ramcharitra Mehta{.
Locals Lauro Bohara, Gor Bahadur Bohara and Kumbhar Bohara have provided 6,120 square metres of land in Patarasi Rural Municipality, Lothchaur, Lothchaur of Patarasi Rural Municipality {{TAG_OPEN_p_10 TAG_CLOSE_span_4}}{}-3 of Ju TAG_OPEN_span_4 mla. District Sports Chief Kabidatta Neupane and other stakeholders were present on the occasion.
The project, which has been stopped since 2075 BS, has moved forward again after the active and coordination of Prakash Khadka and has reached the implementation phase.TAG_OPEN_p_9
The establishment of the centre is expected to expand high-level sports training opportunities in Karnali region and enhance capacity of local and national players.TAG_OPEN_p_8
