Kathmandu. The first song of the movie ‘Ek Mutthi Badal’ has been released on May 1. The song features Aanchal Sharma, Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak and Sahay Adhikari.
The song is composed by Sumit Pathak and sung by Meena Pokhrel and Indrakala Rai. The song presents the voices of three generations of women living in the same house. Sumit is the runner-up of Nepal Idol Season 2. Sumit, who is known as a singer, started his career in film music.
The video presents the fun of the day before the wedding as a backdrop. The song features Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak and Aanchal Sharma.
According to director Sahara Sharma, the voice expressed in the song is the essence of the movie. She said that she had worked with lyricist Harka Saud at various stages and it was challenging to want to fit the story of the movie in the song.
Sahara Sharma, director of Ek Mutthi Badal, says, “While making this song, we wanted to capture the emotions of women of all generations. We wanted to create something that our grandmother and granddaughter could all embrace. I think it’s been accomplished. ’
She adds, “If you notice, this song is one of the many themes covered by the film. ’
The song is written and directed by Sahara Sharma and directed by Pratik Gurung. The song is choreographed by Kritika Baral, cinematography by Nihal Bhandari and editing by Krishna Bhandari. Krishna Bhandari has also done the color grading of the song.
The movie stars Aanchal Sharma, Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak, Bhima Mainali, Asmita Gautam, Shekhar Chapagain, Manish Niraula, Sahyog Adhikari, Gaurav Bista, Abiral Pratap Adhikari and others.
Abhimanyu Dixit is the producer of the movie and Nikun Shrestha is the executive producer of the movie. German producer Sara Fazilat, Samipya Raj Timalsena and Anup Poudel are in the production team.
The film features the cinematography of Linh Dan Nguyen Fan, production design by Yashasvi Sabharwal, editing by Gaurav Mallik, art by Thakuri Jha, costume design by Janaki Kadayat and makeup by Kirti Joshi. The film stars Myrna James as the lead assistant director and is assisted by Sharmila Ale and Meera Khadka as assistants.
The film is jointly produced by Gaunthali Entertainment and Mann Productions, which is led by women in almost all genres of the film. The film will be distributed in Nepal by RR Film Show.
