Kathmandu. Investigations into the arrested individuals and groups with Rs 15.30 lakh have revealed that illegal cryptocurrency transactions worth Rs 1.5 billion have taken place.
A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office had arrested Deepti Pokhrel with Rs 15.30 lakh from Samakhusi. During the investigation, details of crypto transactions were found on him. Two others were arrested during the investigation.
Police have also arrested Indian national Prabesh Ali and Naresh Reule of Banke. During this period, a crypto transaction of Rs 1,36,80,580 was found.
The arrestees have been sent to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
