Kathmandu. CPN-UML central member and former minister Gokul Prasad Baskota has expressed disappointment over India’s preparation to trade with China by using the Lipulekh Pass, ignoring the protest of the Nepali side.

CPN-UML leader Baskota made the remarks after he announced that the India-China trade route would be reopened from June 1 via Lipulekh area of Nepal, which has been closed for the past five years.

“The Lipulekh map is ours, someone else has taken control of it,” he said in a social media post on Sunday.
