Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has also thanked the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) for its role in making the elections successful.
NCP Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Barshaman Pun and other leaders had reached Baluwatar at the invitation of the Prime Minister.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the recently concluded election to the House of Representatives and other contemporary political issues.
Prime Minister Karki said, “You have participated in the election. He created an environment in favour of this election and played a supportive role in giving the country a peaceful and democratic way out. Thank you so much for that. ’
She congratulated the leaders who won the elections. She wished the other leaders all the best for the next time.
The NCP leaders congratulated the country for getting a way out after the election was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Karki.
“Had this election not been held, the country would have gone into another big crash. The courage and hard work with which you have worked on this is very important and praiseworthy. ’
He also recalled that he and his party stood in favour of the election from the very beginning.
“We have stood from the beginning that there is no alternative to the election. At that time, we were the only ones who said that the election should be held without saying anything if,” he said.
“I felt very relieved the day I heard that Sushila Karki would be the Prime Minister. But then there was the news that you said you wouldn’t come. We were all terrified by that. I believed that after you came, the constitution would survive, the system would be saved and the situation would be managed. ’
They said that although it was very challenging to hold the election within 6 months by handling the chaotic situation, it was possible due to the image, honesty and determination of Prime Minister Karki.
