Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has thanked the CPN-UML for its support in holding the elections in a peaceful manner.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Karki thanked the party for its role in making the elections successful in a peaceful environment.
Prime Minister Karki had invited the UML leadership to Baluwatar to express her gratitude. CPN-UML leaders Ishwor Pokharel, Pradeep Gyawali and Mahesh Bartaula had reached Baluwatar to discuss the issue.
“Elections were the only way out of this difficult situation peacefully,” she said. I would like to express my gratitude to you all for the supportive role you played and actively participated in the election, remembering your responsibility towards the nation. ’
She also consoled the UML leadership not to deviate from the mandate of the people’s mandate once as the election would keep on winning and losing.
“A one-time referendum does not determine the status of parties forever. We have also seen the ups and downs of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi in India. As politics is a continuous campaign, keep carrying the issues of the country and people,” she said.
The UML leaders also congratulated PM Karki and his government for holding the elections in a peaceful manner. He also thanked the government for providing leadership to the country in difficult times and providing an all-accepting, peaceful and democratic way out.
