Kathmandu. Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Krishna Prasad Yadav, has shared 51 major works carried out in the first 100 days of the Nepali Congress-led government.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Janakpurdham on Tuesday, Yadav informed about 51 different works initiated by the state government and under discussion.
In the last 100 days, a total of 51 major works related to health, education, agriculture, tourism, irrigation, physical infrastructure, sports, forestry, transport and finance have been forwarded by the ministries under the provincial government.
According to Chief Minister Yadav, among these 51 works, the most notable work done by the state government is the provision of using mobile phones to get the prescriptions of the patients at the provincial hospital in Janakpardham.
Likewise, Chief Minister Yadav said that the provincial government has proposed to the federal government to restore the fertilizer subsidy for the farmers so that it would be implemented from this year. Chief Minister Yadav said that the state government has started works coordinating with the local government and the Department of Archaeology to include the Janaki Temple in the world heritage list.
Likewise, the remaining process for the construction of Ram Janaki Stadium in Janakpurdham has been forwarded, said Chief Minister Yadav. According to Chief Minister Yadav, the state government has initiated the process of issuing licenses to those who earn a living by driving e-rickshaws and tractors through practical examination. Similarly, the government has completed all the necessary preparations to complete all works of the first phase and start the next phase of road under the project of one constituency, 5 kilometers road, said Chief Minister Yadav.
Chief Minister Yadav said that in view of the problem of drying up in summer and shortage of drinking water, efforts are being made to find a solution by holding discussions with experts from now on.
