Kathmandu. The shooting of the much-awaited movie ‘Five Pandavas’ has officially begun. The shooting of the movie started from Kakarvitta, a town on the Nepal-India border in Jhapa on Monday.
With a huge investment and a mix of famous actors, this film is seen as one of the most awaited films of this year.
The first day’s schedule of the movie, which started shooting with the camera, was attended by the main cast of the film.
The movie stars Hari Bansha Acharya, Jitu Nepal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi and Sagar Lamsal (Bale). These actors are the main characters of this film. These actors will be in the role of ‘Panch Pandavas’.
Although the title of the film is ‘Five Pandavas’, it is not a film based on any religious or mythological story. According to the producers, it is completely a ‘social drama’. The film uses the imagery of the five Pandavas of Mahabharata to tell the story of contemporary society.
According to the producers, Deepa Shree Niraula and Jani Gurung will play the female characters of ‘Panch Pandava’.
The movie is being directed by director Basanta Niraula. Sushil Poudel, who is known as a successful screenwriter in the Nepali film industry, has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Poudel is the writer of the popular film ‘Prasad’, which is liked by both critics and audiences, due to which the story of ‘Five Pandavas’ is also expected to be strong.
The movie is presented by Nabin Shrestha and produced by Kali Rani Shrestha. Presenter Shrestha said that the budget of the movie will be high as Hari Bansha Acharya and others are well-liked and senior artists.
The cinematographer of the movie is Shyam Tamang. According to the production team, most of the scenes will be shot in Jhapa.
In the movie ‘Five Pandavas’, the audience will be able to experience full Dolby Atmos sound. Music Nepal’s recently launched Dolby Atmos Sound Studio will be the sound work of ‘Five Pandavas’.
Director Niraula informed that the team will schedule other places after completing the shooting in various beautiful places of Jhapa. Since the veteran and new generation of famous actors will be present on the same screen, the discussion about the film is already increasing in the film circle.
